1 No. BAC Cooling Tower sized at approximately 5.4m x 3.6m x 2.5m up to condenser tubes and 5.4m x 3.6m x 5m the complete tower.

The cooling tower is located externally at high level and had previously been electrostatically coated with a dry, polymetric hybrid thermosetting powder which had been fuse bonded to the substrate. Attempts had been made by others to fibreglass line the internal of the tower sumps in order to prevent leaking from the tower joints, which had failed as the tower was still leaking. Osmotic blistering was present on the existing coating and there were visible leaks from the corroded tower joints underneath.
