2 No. sectional, potable GRP water tanks sized at approximately 4m x 2m x 1.5m high and located within a designated 3rd floor plant room.

The existing mastic between the joints of the GRP tank panels had deteriorated to a degree that the was a significant loss of water between the sectional panels into the plant room risking catastrophic water damage to the rooms below. Cracks had also started to form around the bolts holding the GRP panels together, in all likelihood, caused by over tightening of the bolts in an effort to stop the tank leaking. The existing gel coat had also started to delaminate from the GRP substrate.
